My son has just had his second intravenous Infliximab dose for Crohn's. He literally can't get out of bed. Dreadful tiredness, no appetite and feels nauseous. Does anyone know if these symptoms will pass and how long it will take? He had his last dose on Tuesday.

I've been taking infliximab since April 2016 for an auto immune condition which is basically meningitis without bacterial or viral cause.
I've found it hard to describe how tired I am to doctors, and the advice I've had is to ration the energy I do have, so I think acute fatigue is common, as is nausea.
I've not stopped taking infliximab yet, but other patients I've spoken to say it takes 4-6 weeks for the symptoms to completely stop, but the nausea goes before the tiredness.
I hope your son feels better soon and the infliximab helps with his UC.
