Possible to have hyperthyroid with high TSH?

Is this even possible? I had Graves some years ago treated successfully with Carbimazole. In remission for about 3 years. Recently lost about half a stone in about a month without trying, sweating all the time - hating heat, exhausted, anxiety, difficulty climbing the stairs etc...assumed it was Graves (hyper) returning but TSH is 6.5 which suggests hypo? But symptoms are the opposite of hypo? V confused! I dont have T3 or T4 results unfortunately - been referred to endo but that could take a long time. Also have elevated LFTs - any connection?

As you've had Graves, your TSH will forever be out of kilter and therefore totally unreliable. You need your FT4 and FT3 testing.

I'd also be looking at antibodies and testing not just for Graves antibodies but for Hashimotos antibodies too.

Ah I didn’t know that. Thank you!
