Hi all, just looking for other people's opinions and experiences.

Im a single mum of 2 and aged 39... here are my symptoms.

Bad headaches for several years
Chronic constipation
Frequent urination especially at night
Long term depression and use of anti-depressants
Chronic fatigue , sleep does not happen much and doesn't help
Zig zag flashing in my eyes
Dizziness
Muscle pain like pulled muscles
Most recent thing is nerve pain all down my face on the right side.
Current GP thinks trigeminal neuralgia
An mri 2 years ago showed lesions but none on my spine.

I seem to have just been fobbed off with "migraine" or tiredness and nothing is ever considered in the full picture.

New GP seems very good though and is referring me back to neurology and adjusting my medications.

My half sister has MS.

Do you think they should scan me again in case there are now new lesions or am I just worrying over nothing?

All I know is I am in so much pain, I am looking after the kids alone and I cry most evenings as I am in so much pain and so tired but have to carry on with cleaning and sorting. It's like torture at the minute. Want to rip my head off!

Anyone got any ideas?

Thank you for reading x

My story sounds very similar to yours. I'm waiting for a lumbar puncture to see what shows up but I suspect MS. Did you get any further with neurology?

Hey there

I'm sorry to hear you are having health problems too. It can be so debilitating can't it

My GP has weaned me off the venlafaxine anti depressant and I have been taking pre gablin for the past 4/5 weeks. It seems to be helping me a little.

I'm just pushing through best I can, I don't want it to beat me down any longer.

I got referred to neurology but was told no appointments available so I am on a waiting list. They said at least 6 weeks wait before a letter will be sent.

Hi, your story sounds very similar to mine and I was diagnosed with ms with only leisons on my Brain, no spinal lessons. However lots of illness have similar symptoms push for a lumbar puncture that’s what gave me my diagnosis.
