I'm in the middle of a horrible flare up. Those with Fibro will know how difficult it is day to day especially with young children. I'm looking into taking vitamins and minerals to try and help, does anyone use/recommend any that help them feel better please? Thanks

Vit D and C and zinc. Need to support the immune system as much as possible.

Heard lots of talk about tumeric and the alike but not a fan personally.

I see a specialist fibro physio who is also a qualified nutritionist

The following is the regime I take

Magnesium
Zinc
Cq10
Complex b vit (jarrow b right)
B12 (methylcobalamin)
Omega oils (3, 6& 9)
I also take prebiotics daily and follow a gluten free diet

When I met my physio 6 years ago I was in a wheelchair today I walked 7k unaided

Sorry to hijack thread but how would you describe day to day life with fibro? I'm being investigated for it and half of me says I'm fine just a bit tired forgetful and need to get fit but the other half says you're not old and this isn't right/normal.

Someone said to me I don't look like I have it but what should someone who has it look like?

All of the above do help. Another thing I add in is CBD oil from Ammalife the water soluable one. I add it to tea. Two squirts a day of it. I also like dr greenloves cbd teabags. Cannabis gets a bad rap in the media and is demonized. However the cbd (non psychoactive part) is really good in fibromyalgia, chronic pain etc.
If you wanted to start on a really low dose they are doing a low strength in holland and barrat.
