Familial Mediterranean Fever - anyone have any experience of this

I have a relative who has just been diagnosed as having this - they have asked me to find out some info but google isn’t really proving very useful (apart from saying they need colchicine which has already been prescribed)
Does anyone have any experiences and could offer some advice/tips/best diet etc please?

DH may have this but doesn't have a definitive diagnosis. He hasn't had an attack for 18 months since changing jobs to something less stressful, he was also better when he was fitter too.

My relative is a female and is fairly young, from what I can see online her time of the month can trigger too. Will let her know about keeping fit though, hopefully it helps.
This is her second attack so all fairly new to us. I’d never even heard of it before
