Hyperthyroidism and feeling terrible!

The anxiety is so overwhelming. I feel hyper alert 24/7 and it’s exhausting. It’s such a strange feeling and I want it sorted. My dose of carbimazole has been increased but no changes as of yet.

Ugh I understand! 💐

It feels like it takes ages because even when the levels are improved there’s around a two month lag before you feel better, I can’t remember why. Do you have beta blockers too? They can help dampen down all the peripheral stuff.

How are you feeling?? I was diagnosed with Graves disease on Saturday. Feel awful and overwhelmed with everything. On 5mg beta blockers in morning, 40mg carbimazole and 1.2mg beta blocker at night.
