Hi all, I'm in the South Eastern Suburbs in Melbourne and really hoping to find a recommendation for an established Psychologist Talking Therapist for my 11yo—issues around divorce, new school, and bullying. I would prefer in person and am happy to travel. If you have a suggestion, I would love to hear from you. Thank you.

How close to 12 are they? We found Headspace to be really good, but they work with 12 plus. We’re in the west but I know they have centres all over Melbourne. We’d attended a child psychologist for 18 months and got no where, 6 weeks with Headspace and she was like a different child. They are trained to deal specifically with youth and made a real connection with DD.

I'm sorry for what you are going through O.P. I have had success with my son seeing Tricia Ang at internal sunshine therapy in Malvern East. She is moving to another practice in January (I'm not sure which one yet) as when I find out (through googling) I will follow her to that one. She is the 4th therapist we've tried and she has been very good.
