Newborn Heel Prick Samples - Murdoch research

Hi all,

I've come across an ad about this multiple times.
It says that if you join their free program they test your baby for over 500 conditions. They use the same sample that the hospital gets, not an extra sample, but the hospital only tests for a few things, not the 500.

Have you used it before? Is this legit? Do they really send you the tests results,?

I can't find any real reviews or feedback online.

Thanks

I don’t know about this test, but the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute is a legitimate and well-respected organisation. They do a lot of good work (unlike some other organisations that bear the Murdoch name). If the test is done by MCRI I would be confident that it’s legit.

Thanks for your reply! I wasn't sure and can't find any reviews.

I know some researchers from there, it’s legit. They have various databases of children’s health and development for research. I assume you agree to let them use the results for research.

Thanks for your input, I have decided to use their test.
