Finding a signature

Hello, I have been doing collage pieces for a over a year now and have been asked for prints. I have never signed any of my pieces and I am finding it hard to come up with anything interesting but subttle.

Could anyone with experience give me some tips?

I just use my normal signature and the year! I sell my prints hand-signed and numbered and they come with a Certificate of Authenticity that’s produced by the printers.

Could I ask you a few more questions if you don't mind?

How do you get your prints? Do you scan or photograph your work?
Any tips re. paper types, printer etc would be great

@IamAporcupine I use a professional fine art printer who is a member of the ArtSure Guild of printers. He also produces the certificates and I hand sign these along with each print (they are numbered). He also supplies the mounts and cellophane wraps each one for sale. Each print costs me around £20.

These were printed on ‘Photo Rag’ 308 gsm. The quality is amazing and I can’t distinguish from the original.

I prefer to do it this way as the quality and longevity of the print is guaranteed and won’t fade over time.
