Cross stitch

I love cross stitch (along with many other crafts!) and would like to be able to make my own designs.

Do any of you do this? If so how did you learn? I wondered if there was a book or an online course that you would recommend.

(I have had a look myself online but don't want to waste money on something not very good.)

There are lots of different ones. I haven't tried them yet, but it seems you can make a pattern from a photograph - that's on my list

I have just taken it up recently. I have made some Christmas carsa A good place to start is the mouseloft cross stitch kits. You get fabric, thread, an easy chart, a card envelope, even a needle. They are small cards, quite simplistic but a good place to start as they are easy.
