More of a hobby at the moment, but I'd love to spend every day doing these :-)

Ooh get yourself a Facebook page and share the images to all the pet and animal groups! You will soon get commissions.

Thanks Jonesy! I do have one, but not many followers (mostly my family and my sister's friends!!)

You can up your followers quite easily by posting regularly...around twice a day....posting content that might get shared and things like a vid of you drawing which you then speed up. People love that kind of thing and share it.

Also, join and comment on art groups and craft groups....and do a giveaway which you can share on selling groups as well as craft groups...say you will give a free portrait to a lucky person when you've got 100 likes...each liker must comment with the same word to be in with a chance...say "Portrait" or similar.

Then set a day to announce, let them all know the day...and make a big thing of it.

Then you will have all those extra people to like and share your content which will just grow your followers.

That's a cat with personality! It's very good - real glint in the eyes. What's the medium?

JuniperSling · 31/03/2017 14:12

Yes, I've been thinking of doing a giveaway - just need to word it properly to make it interesting. Posting it in a group is a great idea - I do belong to a pet portraits group.

Thank you Kitties! It's done in coloured pencil :)

You could try an etsy shop. Very cheap, but be aware the competition is fierce.

Thank you Olympia! I do have an Etsy shop but as I only have a few items in it doesn't get much traffic. I actually have two shops as I also sell jewellery on there, but would much rather be doing pet portraits!
