DEBBIE BLISS is joining us TODAY (Wednesday 4 December) for a webchat between 1-2pm.

We're inviting you to show your knitting creations off to Debbie. Post pics up of your projects and she will be helping us judge. We'll choose our favourite three and the winners will each win a copy of Debbie's book Knits For You and Your Home. We'll keep the comp open until Friday morning 10am and we'll announce the winner before the end of day on Friday. Debbie will be looking at this thread before and during the webchat so if you want her response or help with anything, do post your pics up on this thread.

LJ no, sorry! Pidj wrote the basic hat pattern down, but the rainbow bit was just me making it up as I went along - think I did 2 rows of each colour, and grey to make the hat fit! It was just a way to use up yarn scraps, so no real design went into it!

Mine is very simple but the jumper pattern is from DB's baby knits for beginners and I added the star motif myself.

These are all fantastic.

This hat and cardi are my very first knitting projects ever. The hat was 100% from a pattern but for the cardi I adjusted the pattern a bit because it wasn't very interesting. I learned from this one to count rows more carefully, because the pattern at the bottom doesn't match front and back and also that it's not just stashes of yarn you wind up with, it's stashes of buttons! These are a present for my new baby cousin who lives in New York and is currently just over 2 weeks old.

This scarf is 100% my own pattern. It's a Christmas present for my mother in law and it mostly taught me that I need more yarn than I think I do because it's a bit too short!

I got the New Baby knits book over 20 years ago when my eldest was tiny, I love the fact that I can still use it now as the designs haven't dated at all I knitted the red cadi back then and it has been worn by all 3 of my girls! The other photos are 2 of my most recent makes for woolly hugs.

Recently I sorted out my stash and found a part made school jumper I started when my now 23 year old started infant school do you have any unfinished projects hidden away?

This is a ripple blanket I made with wool donated by other MNers (lots of DB Cashmerino!) for the baby of a MNer going through a really tough time. Rather proud of how it turned out if I say so myself…

My youngest sons favourite knitted bear. From a brill Debbie Bliss pattern. I only learnt to knit properly 18 months ago, all taught from Baby Knits for Beginners. It really helps me de stress after looking after 3 kids all day!

This scarf is knitted in a mix of Debbie Bliss Andes, in deep purple, and a pure silk yarn (that I can't remember the name of, but I think it is from colinette), variegated in the colours of the rainbow. I used bramble stitch for this project.
