Fingerless gloves - anyone know of an easy pattern for making these?

At the risk of sounding unhelpful, I started knitting fingerless gloves in my teens. I just used an ordinary glove pattern and stopped before I got to the end of the fingers!

I use the Alice in wonderland pattern on rav, with a slight twist.

It's warm and beautiful. The pattern is simple, I think I want it even though I am not cold
