I want to have my bump painted - Tyne and Wear

I would like to have my bump painted and photographed. I was just wondering if anyone knew anyone that they could recommend in the Tyne and Wear/Northumberland area.

I've no idea but what a brilliant idea. You have to do it. If nothing else, try the local art college. They'd love the idea.

I don't think it's naff. If Demi Moore can do a naked photoshoot for a magazine while pregnant, I can't see that being painted with facepaints and then having a private photo taken is so terrible.

If it looks terrible, wash off the paint and tear up the photo. But it just might be fabulous so I'd say give it a try.

The whole Demi Moore thing renders it even more naff.It doesn't redeem it.

i'm definately doing it - i didn't post this to seek other people's opinions on it as frankly i don't care - i've decided i want to do it and wanted positive contributions about someone who might be able to do it. Part of me hoping to find a stay at home mum doing it as her own business in a sort of spirit of feminist sisterhood! I did the naked demi moore style thing the last time as i have a good friend who is a photographer. Next time i.ll include 'no opinions needed' on my post, but i'll be grateful for positive suggestions anyone could give.

You could do henna instead - find a local henna artist? Looks lovely, lasts longer!

Have you got any artistic friends - maybe you could get someone you know to do it, save some money and have a laugh?

I've found a friend of a friend who is a really good face painter who may be persuadeable!
