I need some glue that will stick a strip of fabric onto a roller blind. I've been using one called hi tack (reminds me of a cross between school PVA and wood glue!) but it's no good as it has soaked through the material in some patches despite me spreading it so that there weren't any blobs. I wondered if a spray glue might be better? Any ideas? I really want to get these blinds finished

I'd use gaffer tape as presumably the fabric will be wrapped around several times and you won't see it.

Spray mount would probably do it.

URM, think we are at cross purposes?! I have a plain roller blind. I want to add a different material to the bottom third by sticking a single layer of material to the existing bottom third of the blind. The adhesive needs to be invisible.

I meant minky!

Is spray mount strong enough to hold fairly thick cotton Buttercup?

I'd say so - you might get tatty edges if it gets condensationy though? ! I've used it on felt before and it's very stuck

Ah ha, I see, well in that case I would sew, even hand sewing would be better and neater than glue. Not much help. Sorry
