Learning how to knit

Anyone know any good, easy to follow resources online for learning how to knit?

I relearned crochet last year from some great tutorials on youtube.

Some fab videos on utube. I found a book helpful. I have 'Easy baby knits' which I like.

Now I just need to buy knitting needles and wool

Would recommend getting bamboo knitting needles, much nicer to work with than metal. I have found these guys www.getknitted.com/ provide a fast reliable service. If you have a local shop they may well run some lessons.

And join Ravelry (Ravelry.com). It takes only a couple of days now after you have asked for an invitation. There may be a group near you, they always welcome new knitters.
