Who wants to help me to find this sheep print fabric?

used for a duvet cover here
The small sheep pattern one i've found on ebay, but i can't find the large sheep print.

The website shows that it was originally bought at abakhan in wales. I've called them and they don't have any left. They also didn't know what is was called or who supplied them with it.

MIL wants to make something for DS2 who is a big sheep fan. He bloody loves them.

Any help, hugely appreciated. Thanks.

can the store tell you who the supplier is?

nevergoogledragonbutter · 11/09/2009 13:05

no, they didn't know that either!

i googled all evening last night.
i thought for a while it might be made by NICI as the shape of the sheeps face looks like the NICI jolly mah.
But that seemed to be a dead end.

might one of these do?

kiwibella · 11/09/2009 13:24

great site SS... some lovely fabrics!

stealthsquiggle · 11/09/2009 13:30

They are lovely in RL as well - DS has one of the astronaut ones in his bedroom.

haventsleptforayear · 11/09/2009 13:31

Is this it? in France

I can help you out with ordering if it is!

Actually just looking for material myself and thought most of the UK stuff was V. nice...

kiwibella · 11/09/2009 13:35

love your name, haventslept!! And, more lush fabric... the prices seem amazing on that french site?

stealthsquiggle · 11/09/2009 13:41

wow - I love that site. It has what I have not been able to find in the UK - non-Disney princess stuff.

..and my friend has a flat in paris I could get it delivered to

haventsleptforayear · 11/09/2009 13:52

kiwibella it's more like 2.5 yrs now so will be updating to just "haventslept" soon!

Glad you like the site, it's the first one that came up on French google.

I LOVE the stuff on stealthsquiggle's site but it is quite expensive.

nevergoogledragonbutter · 11/09/2009 14:27

That's it!

Great.

Have been refreshing to see if you would log back on!

Now let me get on with some work - but not sure if the site delivers to UK - do you want me to email them?

How much fabric do you need?

nevergoogledragonbutter · 11/09/2009 14:36

Can you see if the site will post to the UK?

My french is only ok. I can do 'dans mon panier' and would probably manage to place an order ok. But not sure i could find out if they do international orders.

So glad you found it. Thank you.

Ok. Have emailed them, their phone lines are not open in the afternoons.

It says on their site that they don't deliver abroad but I have asked if they can make an exception.

If they can't, their delivery costs are a standard 6.95? and I could post on to you, but it would probably be that much again to post to the UK.

I don't have CAT, can you give me an email address (or create one) to let me get off MN and do some work (don't want to check back too often and get sucked in again!!! )

kiwibella · 11/09/2009 15:51

is the site also a store? I'm feeling that a trip on the Eurostar is absolutely necessary.

In comparison to the prices on the french site, UK prices seem very expensive. Have you found any UK sites that you would order from haven't slept?

Cooincidentally, I'm also suffering from erratic sleep due to my dd who is 2.6 years. I keep thinking... one day .

Have emailed you.

Site can't send to Uk but their identical German site can.

nevergoogledragonbutter · 12/09/2009 19:51

Thanks. Have ordered it in German.

You've made a little sheep bothering two year old very happy. (just so long as we don't muck up the sewing).

(sheep bothering in the sense of chasing them, not, y'know)
