Any good high street shops to sniff test essential oils for the diy candles?

I'm really keen to do the candles - but not sure which scents I'm going to like.
Are there any high street shops that have a good range of oils to have a sniff at first?

or do you just smell some candles and copy the fragrances they list?

Holland and Barrett are usually pretty helpful for sniffing

their sale should be coming up soon.....
