Where to embroider name etc on a Christening gown?!

coloured thread or white?

birthdate and christening date or just birthdate?

If I were going to put anything on at all, I'd probably use a gold-coloured thread, and the child's name and Christening date.

I'd put just the name on the hem. Poss in pale co-ordinating colour. Patel pink/blue if you want to go down that route, Or silver if the dress is white, gold if it's cream. My friend had to cancel the cristening of their son as he got the pox. Play it safe with just the name.
