I have just started blogging

Dingle · 09/08/2009 14:05

Once again it seems life has pushed my crafting to a minimum- all I seem to manage is the odd Design Team card....

I am in a right funny mood, want to de-clutter, organise, clean but just don't know where on earth to start!

Anyway, enough of my waffle my latest card is a Christmas card!

Dingle... ditto, I feel just the same!! I'm so down about it all, I am ready to chuck it all recycle everything and start again. This time, more thoughtfully. I do love the colours of your Christmas card.

I'm loving your flowers VV... the ribbon ones are just like a cushion that I adored at Marks today! How addictive are they... one side of the cushion was covered? I wonder... another project that I like the look of but never start .

vInTaGeVioLeT · 06/09/2009 21:48

I've blogged about a doll's quilt I've just made for a swap

kiwibella · 07/09/2009 22:35

tell me, VV... how do you assemble the flowers? I can see how you make the curled petals. Then is it just a matter of stitching randomly to keep them together? Ta x

kiwibella · 07/09/2009 22:37

these are the marks cushions except I saw them in pink. They look stunning but the work was shoddy. The flowers were simply made of rolled ribbon however most of the ribbon ends were fraying. I was so disappointed.

lucykate · 07/09/2009 22:41

teamonster - just visited your blog, love your rather nifty idea for the book holder. my ds has the same bed, we are about due for an ikea trip, might go and get one of those double curtain poles!

vInTaGeVioLeT · 07/09/2009 23:06

hi Kiwibella - i just layered up the petals and stitched them together at the same time as adding the beads. I like the cushion shame it was disapointing in the flesh [cloth]!
