Are they plastic threads or cotton threads?

Look similar to the fabric friendship bracelets I never got the hang of at school

they are very thin plastic tubes

Dd (12) brought some home from school - now I'm addicted! And ds(17) even had a go. Don't think I could explain coherently what you do - but its kind of plaiting in a square.
