Dylon cold dye alternative

I see that Dylon have discontinued their little cold dyes that I used to use. Has anyone any alternatives? I've used the Dylon machine dyes but these are more expensive and for a greter amount of fabric. Also fancied having a go at tie-dyeing some baby stuff. There's always ebay but limited range colours.

you can use washing soda instead - i believe it's 5 tablespoons per tin of dye.
i was looking for myself as i have a stash of cold dye and found this thread www.thegreenparent.co.uk/forums/viewthread/6191/#61545

They still make a cold dye, it's just in sachets, not discs.

that's not the same stuff, it's more expensive but you can use it to tie-dye.

It is more expensive than buying the tins of dye but when you add the cost of the cold fix, it's actually eachy-peachy.
