Patterns for children's knitted hats, scarfs and mittens

I was a prolific knitter until I had my ds and I now don't get very much time to indulge. We're going on holiday in June and I will have a chunk of time then to get back into it. I'd like to do him some hats, scarfs and gloves (possibly also socks) for the winter but I'm struggling to find patterns unless I go for a book. Can anyone recommend anything suitable? I will be knitting 1-2 year sizes if that's relevant.

I can recommend a book with all those patterns in - Head to Toe Knits by Zoe Mellor. Very fun bright patterns. You could try the libary - our local library has it.
