Tapestry design software

A while ago someone on here was talking about using some design software where you could get a tapestry plan from your own design or even photographs. Typically I can't find the post or the software, does anyone know about this?

I have a few design ideas, but wouldn't know where to begin to draft them out in terms of stitches.

Is it one of these here?

A couple on the list are tapestry related.

Thank you Niecie, it wasn't any of those and most I've found are very expensive. However I've finally found the one that was mentioned before, which isn't too bad price wise www.ursasoftware.com/WinStitch/WinStitch.html

Looks good and it seems to be used for knitting, stitching and beading. Value for money!

I have a x stitch one which was about the same price but I am having trouble getting to grips with it - you should see the manual I printed off!

Have fun!

if you have gimp (its free and like photoshop) their is a cross stitch pluggin for it.

i am hoping to get around to getting it installed one day. other than that their are plenty of photoshop tutorials online which i do while i am at work.

i would really like to do a lot more of this.
