Sewing Machine Patterns

Does anyone know of any websites with easy/beginners sewing machine patterns?

I got one about 2 years ago but have never used it. My mum has had it for most of those 2 years as she has been making curtains for her house and for ours.

I would love to be able to make all sorts of things with it but not really sure where to start.

Thanks

The difficulty with patterns on the internet is that it is a great job to get them off there.
My advice would be to invest in a bought pattern where you get all the instructions in one envelope. Some are very expensive, but there are quite cheap ones around. Once you have made one thing you will have the confidence to start something a bit more elaborate.
The alternative is to try and find a dressmaking class, but there the first thing they will do is send you off to buy a pattern.

Ok then I'll buy a pattern. I'm not sure but I don't think there are any dressmaking classes near me.

I have enrolled on a course run through our local council.... you could check with them. Or maye any local groups, our local asian group runs them. I have also bought patterns from jaycotts.

You are probably well on your way but there are some lovely new patterns for beginners at www.machinestars.com
