Breastfeeding bra clips - where on the planet do I buy them? Can I have your old bras!!

So - am completely broke and I need bf bras and vests to deal with dd2 due in a fortnight.

So - I'm thinking I can convert regular bra's and vests to bf ones, I just need those clips. YOu know the ines I mean!! Hav eonly found themon an AMerican site so far. Could use poppers but the clips are ideal.

Anyone know of an online type place that I could try?

Or does anyone have tired old bras they are finished with - cos I'll hack them to shreds for the clips!!

I have some bf-ing pyjamas which have those clips. You'd be welcome to them!

I also have a few items of bf-ing clothing which I bought from Blooming Marvellous and Wondermummy (god, what a name...). I never wear them, as am so large of nork that they don't work properly.

Would you like them? I'll send them to you free of postage.

I'm sorry, btw, about your husband's redundancy.

And also - in ref. to another thread you started - I am in awe of midwives. The 4 midwives who were involved in my pregnancy and homebirth were AMAZING. I'm sure you are too!!!

Not free of postage. That would be a disaster. .

I meant, I'd pay postage.

Your so kind! Am humbled by this net of ours and the good karma that flows!!

Bring on all your stuff - but I insist on at least covering your costs and do feel free to charge!! I don't want to be a cheeky monkey!

Got sent a brilliant bra by someone today in addition to all your booty Penthesileia - I can't believe that something I was actually worried about has just been 'cured' by people helping me.

I sort of thought I'd get recommendations for where to buy the clips and people would offer to sell me vests and bra's.

I don't see this kind side of people when just trucking about shopping and preschool running and generally being in the busy world. Who does really.

Will do a thank you thread with pics of bubba when she arrives. And will be sure to spread the karma with acts of kindness myself.

Ooooh - you're having a girl!

Do you need any baby clothes? Sadly, I gave away most of my DD's 0-3 months stuff, but have some 3-6 you could have. However, you might have stuff already.

treedelivery · 09/01/2009 16:16

We've lots from dd1 thank you very much. 2nd girl so living in a fully pink land here. We were in better times then [sighs for old way of life and disposable income ]
Only additional purchase I've allowed this myself time is some 2nd hand washable nappies from mumsnet as thats my aim for this baby.

Leaner greener parenting!
I gave some stuff to our surestart centre for them to distribute if your overrun and they were delighted. Loads of people in my sort of shoes who don't get such lovely luck and kindness like I have.

Penthesileia · 09/01/2009 16:22

Cool.

That's a good idea about the Surestart Centre... Hadn't thought of that. Thanks.

NotADragonOfSoup · 10/01/2009 11:36

If you're still after salvaged clips, I can scavenge some of some decrepit bf-ing bras from DS1 & 2

iamsoupdragon at blueyonder dot co dot uk

you do need the "iam" bit of the address too

NotADragonOfSoup · 10/01/2009 11:36

Free postage too.
