Just wondered if any one wants to start up a swop shop.....we could swop our card making items for other peoples bits and bobs????

Anorak, I have all the Bitty Bodys pieces....have just ordered the larger body set and angel wings butterfly...they will be here next week....labels....flowers...and a butterfly...not many I know but I keep buying one or two a week to build up my stock.

I would love some of the fibres, Dingle what would you like in exchange?

Dingle · 15/04/2005 19:16

Did you have any other coloured fibres? The sizzix country block thing sound good too.Could you email a few pics. It only works out about 5p a metre so you don't need to send much.

Do you still want those daisies? I haven't done the wire hearts yet, but if you do I could post them off to you at the same time as the fibres.

kkgirl · 15/04/2005 19:38

Dingle

I've only got the bright red fibres and some pinks and lilacs. I'll try to email them to you later on.
Have had two of ds's friends around, who have had a fall out and are not speaking now, so its a bit awkward trying to do to much until dh comes in to take them home.11 year olds and their hormones eh!!!

The sissix pad is individual a5 patterned sheets, so I will e mail you some of the patterns, so you can see what you like.

Dingle · 15/04/2005 19:43

No problem kkgirl. I am allowing ds half hour on PS2,before bed. I am about to make a few cards but will be popping back on for a while later no doubt!

anorak · 15/04/2005 19:44

I have added a photo of my sizzix diecuts, so you're no longer all alone dingle!

layla · 15/04/2005 20:09

Hi Kkgirl,I'd love a selection of papers then, some patterned or corrugated if you like.Any really woould be nice thanks.I'll send you a message on mumsnetcrafters ok with my address.I'll give you about £1.50's worth of hessian which will be quite a large piece,it's not very expensive ok.

kkgirl · 16/04/2005 08:32

kkgirl · 16/04/2005 08:41

Dingle · 27/04/2005 17:00

kkgirl, your swaps are on their way to you! I hope you like the daisies!

I have loaded my die cuts on the swaps shop album of the gallery if anyone wants a look!

kkgirl · 27/04/2005 17:14

Dingle

Thanks, look forward to receiving the daisies. Will have a look at the swops now.

Dingle · 29/04/2005 11:55

kkgirl, I am stealing your idea with the little tags you used on the last swap, I am going around the DIY stores at the weekend in search of some cheap cork tiles. I thought I'd give it a go on my sizzix machine!I haven't tried finky foam yet either, so many new things to try and so little time to do them!!

kkgirl · 29/04/2005 15:08

Good idea Dingle. It wasn't my idea, I just bought them from ebay, I love cork and hessian. Sounds like you are having fun.

Jayzmummy · 29/04/2005 16:40

Dingle....check out B&Q for the cork tiles....you get a pack of 9 12x12 tiles for less than a fiver!!!

Dingle · 29/04/2005 16:58

Oh JM, DH is already on his way back with them from Homebase, god only knows what he has got though!

He tried to ring me but I was on the line to my niece chatting about a wedding invite order!!

He's home, paid £5.38 for the same!!Must finish a few things before I try it out!!

Dingle · 15/05/2005 21:30

JM, cork tiles!!!! Opened the packet last week and they seem very thick! I cut some funky foam in my sizzix for the first time last week and that only just fitted underneath, so I don't think the cork will work!

Dingle · 15/05/2005 21:36

Carolinett, I would love some of the punched hats, gloves....don't mind what colour, perhaps a mixture. What would like in return? I also make the likkle knitted bootees to sell/swap, you can see them in the baby section of the gallery.

Carolinett · 15/05/2005 22:20

Just hats & Gloves What theme are you thinking gardening I need to know so I can choose the right colours for you

Carolinett · 15/05/2005 22:29

Dingle you and I have the same taste in rubberstamps I can't believe you have nearly all the same rubber stamps as me. I also have a sizzix machine. I'll keep a close eye on your swap sight you're bound to have something I will need later on in the year, can I please call in my swap later if you don't mind.

Dingle · 15/05/2005 22:31

no sorry, that was me being lazy! .... = bag,shoes...I must have shoes!!! I cut my own, like the ones on the dressed to kill card, I do a little open toed, strappier version too, but very fiddly to cut!

Carolinett · 15/05/2005 22:35

OK no problem I'll punch them tomorrow night when I get home from work and post them Tuesday email me your home address [email protected]

Dingle · 15/05/2005 22:36

No problem Carolinett. In fact there is no rush for these my end either. I have lots to do!! I have only had my sizzix a few weeks and have loads of ideas, but just haven't had the time to put them together.

I have some gorgeous dies, from Dies to die for..a bag, hat and some boots, can't wait to try that but musy catch up on my orders first!

layla · 16/05/2005 14:54

Hi Dingle.I love your stamps in the swap album but not sure I would have anything half as nice to swap with them. Are you swapping the actual stamps them selves or just a few stampings of them?

Dingle · 16/05/2005 14:57

No layla just the offer of stamping some up and posting off . I have started swapping with a friend locally, I have just got the little fisherboy, in the "NEW" folder. I think he's quite fun.

If ever you want any layla, just ask! I am not the worlds best stamper, I do most of mine in a basic , black waterproof ink so that I can watercolour them.
