Swop Shop.....

Just a thought.....I had a Sizzix of dh and the guys for mothers day.....I can make

Little Bitty Fairies/Princesses.
Butterflys.
Tags/Labels.
Flowers.

Just wondered if any one wants to start up a swop shop.....we could swop our card making items for other peoples bits and bobs????

Anorak, I have all the Bitty Bodys pieces....have just ordered the larger body set and angel wings butterfly...they will be here next week....labels....flowers...and a butterfly...not many I know but I keep buying one or two a week to build up my stock.

Sorry, I'm not much either, but mine for example are either stored in "My Pictures" or "Kodak Pictures" if you view a pic in one of these, by clicking on a pic, it will show you how big the picture is ,eg 400 KB. Once you have clicked on your pic, on your options down the side you should have "email this pic", click on that and a resize window should come up. By emailing it this way it reduces the file size to say, about 50Kb, and therefore go across much quicker!

Does that make any sense?

haven't read all of this but for those on dial up - could you not put them on a disk then go to the library to upload?

i ahve some stamps, dingle and i did talk about swapping and she made more progress than me.

i am doing a stamp swap with another group and today i receievde one envelope of stamps and they aren't very good , stamped onto very textured card so very uneven image.

i will try and do some of my stamos later and put them on the yahoo site, shall I?

I think the difference might be that you are using a digital camera and I am using a scanner? Maybe?

I don't mind the upload time but I don't want to inflict the download time on others.

I need to get myself a digital camera, I think.

What do you want me to do with my images? I have a friend locally who I have just swapped images withSo I have mine all prepared on paper but not all on PC yet.
If anything happens with this-I think we need to set certain guide lines about swaps then AQ. It seems unfair if you don't get the images you were expecting.

Those swapping should ask for whatever materials they have in mind to be used and if it can't be done, they will know before they agree to swap?

it was a blind swap, really, the ones i got were just the luck of the draw.
it would be better to choose them really.

AQ, sorry it didn't work out that well for you. I was amazed at the stamps I actually have. Got quite a few xmas ones half price and I have them all boxed up, but raring to go, whenever I have the chance!
What should I do with my sample pages?

Champs. now you have your super douper sizzix machine perhaps you might like to swap die cuts at some stage!

I have stamped and loaded on PC, all my stamped images. If anyone wants to see them perhaps we could load the swap images on yahoo.
I have a little file of ever growing swapsies that other MNs have emailed me!

very boringly I got the fruit smoothie alphabet. I also got the conversion kit that came with an oak die and an embossing folder,I am kicking myself now as they had a really good deal with dies and I was all sensible and didn't get any. I am so tempted to go to the show again tomorrow!!

I have set up a Swap Shop album if you want to add anything
I will put on my one page of stamps. I do have some others around a seaside theme but they are parcelled up ready to go to Layla for a little while.
