Just a thought.....I had a Sizzix of dh and the guys for mothers day.....I can make

Little Bitty Fairies/Princesses.
Butterflys.
Tags/Labels.
Flowers.

Just wondered if any one wants to start up a swop shop.....we could swop our card making items for other peoples bits and bobs????

Anorak, I have all the Bitty Bodys pieces....have just ordered the larger body set and angel wings butterfly...they will be here next week....labels....flowers...and a butterfly...not many I know but I keep buying one or two a week to build up my stock.

I will put my diecuts pic on your album when I get a minute AQ. I did get it sorted finally, hope you got my email.

I've got a bee in my bonnet about making handmade paper now, so I'm off into the garden to get my saw out and cut the pieces for a frame. Anyone else do this?

oh dear! anorak,good luck with the papermaking. It is something that I have only tried once before but I am storing up all my odd scraps of paper, like a little hamster!
The lavender bush will hopefully be attacked when I get around to it! I have also been collecting odds end from the metallic embroidery silks I use on my cards!
I have several moulds, the shallow sort that you would use for plaster, I have it it mind to press the paper pulp into those too! If I ever get around to it!
I don't hav a proper frame. I have resisted that, so far! I use an old embroidery frame with netting stretched accross.

hi anorak...befoer yo get out your saw...i bought 2 very chaep nasty framed 'prints' from Matalan, the farmes were flat backed. took out the pictures and glass, covered the frames in mesh and hey presto?

did i get your email??? hmm...have i slept since then? will go and search for it.

I am looking for some die cut alphabet letters (any colours) until I finally get my hands on a sizzix machine. Not sure what I could swap for but have got loads so I'm sure I can come up with something!
So, if anyone has a sizzix machine and a set of alphabet dies and would like to make me some letters in exchange for something they are looking for (stamps/inkpads/embellishments/punches/charms/bradz/fancy paper/card etc etc) please let me know.

Hi,I've bought a whole metre of brown hessian which is far too much for me to use.I'm going to put some on cards by the way.Does anyone want to swap some of it for something else?

layla, I have the same, it's been lurking around my desk for over a year now and I've only made about 5 cards with it!!

I got some wool today from my little local shop. It is very similar to the fibres I paid 33p p/meter for!! I paid £2.50 for a ball of approx 55 mtrs (under 5p p/mtr!!)

Has anyone got another colour I could swap with?
I have cream,pinks and lilac tones but there were loads of other colours to choose from!I'll load a pic in the swap album if anyone wants to see it!

I hope I am OK in doing so, but I have created an album in AQs swap shop. I have started to load a few pics, daisies, stamps....
No one else has loaded anything there yet!

I have all sorts of paper - I have a sizzix little sizzles country block which is A5 pieces of coloured paper, and also pearlescent and crumpled, corrugated, all sorts, let me know what you fancy. If you want I can send you some bits and pieces. Just so I can make sure its equal value to the hessian, can you let me know roughly how much it was. I did a swap with Sunnygreetings recently and was worried I hadn't sent enough stuff.

kkgirl, I don't have an alphabet set but I do have other sizzix dies, I posted my list low down at the start of this thread. If there is anything you want then I would love to swap you for your sizzles pad.

I have got a sizzix and I am now saving up to buy an alphabet set.....but I keep spending so it'll be ages before I save enough to get one!!!!

If my hubby ever finds out how much stuff i have bought today he'll put me on bread and water for the rest of the year!!!

I have got some in the plum colour too but can get it in all the colours at trade price. If any one wants any let me know.
Dingle....do you want some of the plum coloured??? I can pop a few meters in the post if you want some.

and there was me thinking a had a bargain!Still it was a lot cheaper than buying it by the metre from a craft supplier!

No rush yet, but yes JM, at some stage I would love a few metres of some other colours. Let's see what response is from the others too.
