Christmas - scrap ornament Tutorial

I know there are more talented ladies out there at sewing than I am but I have wirrten up a little tutorial for a friend with some little ornaments made from scraps of fabric.. I'm going to give them out as presents and decorate the tree with them...

I hope its of use to somone.. for thier scraps or for making little ornaments out of old childrens clothes..

alternatively, this works well with felt or other non-fray material. usually they're made with circles of card or paper but last year I made this from fleece.

thank you... I always have a java jacket in my handbag.. it makes me smile at starbucks.. and they are very quick to knit.. which is good as I get board quickly.. on the rare occasion I have time to get board that is..

Much to the eternal disappointment of my grandmother (now departed), I can't knit. she tried to teach me throughout my childhood but I hate the feeling of the wool over my fingers. Even thinking about it makes me shudder!.

I do, however, have a large quantity of felt upstairs...

Not that I get to have many take-out coffees any more

to be hotest I'm a terrible knitter.. well I can knit unless you put a pattern infront of me.. then it all goes badly.. but I do fine if its just plain simple non patterned scarf shaped objects.. DH says my java jackets are just scarves in minature that I sewed the ends together.. I really cant argue with that.

I have a long list of Things To Do and I never seem to have the time. I wanted to make felt paper chains this year but never got round to it. [sigh]

everything went to pot this week.. horrible cold.. hugely behind on all things craft and christmas related..
