Help please!! Need to reattach cords to my buggysnuggle and no idea re.sewing!!

I thought i would be able to attempt this, but it is such thick fleece im worried i will spoil it. Anyone any good with this sort of thing who could guide me? i bought some new cord and was adv by haberdashery shop on needles but not sure if i should hand sew or send to someone who has a machine?

Hi,
I have a buggysnuggle and I am sure you won't spoil it. Just make sure you thread the end of the cord in itseft many times before attaching it to where it was in the fleece. You will be fine. You don't see it anyway.
