i am so skint, i need to make some homemade gifts for xmas, anyone know how to make h/m soaps body lotions, bath cream

and any ideas on wrapping them to make them look nice.

also any other ideas what other things i can make as gifts i was thinking, biscuits chocoltes sweets cookies soaps bath cream body lotion.

I just made some crayons by melting them down - there is a thread on here - maybe you could do the same for soap?

I am making small cloth bags to fill with goodies.

Get some bottles with good lids

Fill the bottom couple of inches with with olive oil, whole pepper corns, juniper berries, garlic cloves etc.

I stewed dried fruit one year in a fabulous ginger and whisky mixture and then bottled it.

Get terracotta pots, plant 3 x hyacinth bulbs in them.

Not sure how to post a link but take a look at the christmas muffin mix on bbc good food site. I got 1 litre plastic jars really cheap off Ebay and also some really cheap muffin tins and cases so can present the whole thing.
