I've fell in love with these, but can't afford them!!

If you could do them alot cheaper, or wouldn't mind swapping skills (I'm a painter, could do a painting for a childs room or something??) I would be over them moon!

It's not that I don't fancy them, but I am a bit snowed under doing Tombliboos.

You might as well buy them by the time you've bought the merino wool that they are knitted in.....

EnchantedWithEdwardCullen · 09/10/2008 09:33

Does it have to be merino wool? Is that expensive?

I htought the point about longies is that if they're wool they breathe/absorb moisture etc. Superwash merino wool is of course less likely to be itchy than other alternatives and machine washable - 3-4 balls of superwash merino wool would be about ooh £10? eg heretexere or you might be able to find it cheaper on ebay.
