Cardmakers - do you fancy a challenge?

All you have to do is make a card, then post the materials that you used to make the card to the next person and see what they come up with. We will then post up the results to see what different cards we made.

If you use a stamped mage then you would have to send your stamoed image too, but if you used some special paper to cut out a number 8 for instance you wouldn't send the cut-out, just the paper of the same size you used.

Anyway if you would like to join then please email me your address and on the 11th/12th February I will email you the address of the person that you are to send your goodies to. All goodies must be received by the end of February. Then we can post the results mid-March.

Yes I sell my cards....what was meant to be a hobby has slowly become a full time job....but I can fit it in around home educating my ds2.....he helps me for his art sessions!!!!!!

Hi Auntyquated,can you put my card up there for me I'm hopeless with computers and the picture of the bits.I looked at the cards and they are fab really good.Hope you don't mind doing it.And thanks for organising too.If I ask Gary to help me post them on there he'll go a bit mad after teaching me the other night how to send them he's not a very patient teacher bless him.

Hi Jaymum,I started as a hobby too and it still is but I've got a few cards in 3 shops now.It'll never make me rich as I buy more than I make but I love doing them.Been making them a year now.I'm dropping a couple of hours work so I can have more time to make them.At the moment it's mad as I only have the evenings and family time is taking up those mostly.Good luck doing what you do I'd love to see more.Gather you were a bit horrified at the pink paper I'm afraid I can't resist anything girly and pink but it's great what you did with it.Bye for now.

Dd is 9 tomorrow, so we are having a perty tomorrow, not here thnakfully at the pool; but have had to sort party bags...packet of sunflower seeds and a trinket box from Claire's accessories that were a bargain..priced up at £3.50 but if you spent more than a fiver you could have them 2 for a pouind.

Just finished an order to go to a young girl who is being bullied at school! When it was ordered they said they wanted a blonde girl, a rainbow and some musical connection! I'm not quite sure of the response I'll get- I hope she likes it and that it helps to cheer her up!

shall we start a new thread for the new challenge and se who is interested first, then ask for theme suggestions, or should we decide the theme before asking people to sign up????

as i have all the adddresses i don't mind sorting it out again.

shall we send the same goodies to 2 people instead of 1. i just feel that those whose goodies weren't used/weren't dispalyed must be feeling a bit disappointed! if we send to 2 others then there is more liklihood of seeing at least one end product.

I really don't mind either way AQ. Perhaps it would be best to start another thread, and decide the finer details amongst those who want to take part!

Count me in AQ for whatever card swap idea you do next please. Will be away for 1 week from Friday, hope dd and ds had fantastic bday cards and a lovely day!
