Cardmakers - do you fancy a challenge?

All you have to do is make a card, then post the materials that you used to make the card to the next person and see what they come up with. We will then post up the results to see what different cards we made.

If you use a stamped mage then you would have to send your stamoed image too, but if you used some special paper to cut out a number 8 for instance you wouldn't send the cut-out, just the paper of the same size you used.

Anyway if you would like to join then please email me your address and on the 11th/12th February I will email you the address of the person that you are to send your goodies to. All goodies must be received by the end of February. Then we can post the results mid-March.

i have just been loking at mens cards as i need to do a card for a cricketer. have searched and searched for cricket embellishments but no luck yet. so yes a man theme sounds really good.

i ahve just set up a Yahoo group so that we can put up our photos when we have done everything. it is a members only group but is easy to join just click here

i just ahve a couple of addresses to get then will email you your partners details soon.

eyelets... you really just need the punch and the setter. what size can you do? think 1/16 or 1/8 is the most popular

I have made some little cricket stumps and cricket ball out of fimo in the past, stuck it onto some green vivelle((??) grass like stuff!!
I am sure I have intructions somewhere if you would like me to email it to you. Just let me know.

have just made my card, have taken a photo of it.

have put all the bits and pieces together, taken photo of them.

just need to find an envelope and the address.

OOhhh,,,,got mine in post this morning!! Just sat down "experimenting with a few ideas! Want to try something new, but I had better try it out on "a spare" in case I ruin the sample sent to me!
A BIG sorry, I haven't posted my bits and bobs off yet, children go back tomorrow so I will try to get to the post office after dropping them off. I have promised my mum that I will drive her to the doctors at some time in the morning too! If I don't manage it then - it will be Wednesday!sorry!!

Thanks AQ.....just battling with a few demons who will not provide what they should.....long story but hey I'll get there in the end.....card making is my release....it's the only me time I have where I totally absorb myself and forget the cr@p thats going on!!!!! Suppose it beats hitting the bottle although hubby reckons the bottle would be cheaper!!!!!

AAwww....didn't know whether to say or not-didn't know how "secret" it was!! Got a fab little tag!!!not giving away much info am I!!I'll be quizing whoever sent that to me about where it came from!!
Sorry AQ, no ideas about how to view them-too technical for me!

How is everyone doing? I have at long last made my card and got my bits and pieces in the post. I made a few more variations while I had the "stuff" at hand! I must get my stock box full again.
I haven't made my card with the goodies I have recieved yet!I thought I would leave that until I am a bit ahead of myself with all the birthdays coming up. I still find that I am making my own cards at the last minute!
AQ I haven't forgotten you cricketing idea, I am slowly but surely trying to organise my craft goodies that are stored all over the house, in every little space going!! I will email it to you ASAP.
