Cardmakers - do you fancy a challenge?

All you have to do is make a card, then post the materials that you used to make the card to the next person and see what they come up with. We will then post up the results to see what different cards we made.

If you use a stamped mage then you would have to send your stamoed image too, but if you used some special paper to cut out a number 8 for instance you wouldn't send the cut-out, just the paper of the same size you used.

Anyway if you would like to join then please email me your address and on the 11th/12th February I will email you the address of the person that you are to send your goodies to. All goodies must be received by the end of February. Then we can post the results mid-March.

dingle - as long as it's under 5MB Yahoo will do the rest.

do you think it would be better if the originals were in the same album as the ohters so it would be easier to compare?

can't wait to see the others

laso; once they are there should we let others look. i could set up a 'viewer' account

dior is going to put some there too i think.

i've a couple of ideas but am open to suggestions. dingle did suggest a male theme as mens cards are so difficult.

Just been looking at the photos, they are brilliant, all of them.
I think it would be easier if they were together so you could compare the different styles, if that isn't too difficult to do.

Can I scan mine and email it to you again?

i will move them later if that is OK with everyone.
champs - yours is upside down - i have tried to turn it round which i have managed but now i can't get it to load.
i really must go and get one with a few things but will try again later.

ooh yes,count me in for another one.
I am fairly easy I don't mind what we do for a theme, most people seem to struggle with mens cards at some stage.

If we send out to two, do we make 2 different cards to start with or send the same goodies out to two people. Will we then receive 2 lots and have to make 2 cards!

great cards BTW ladies, I have really enjoyed this. Thanks again AQ!

i think there are lots of cardmakers on MN who keep quite quiet but we would love to see your cards!

hi aq, did a man themed one this time. I would like to take part in next swap as need all inspiration i can get with men's cards but i did such a bad job with time keeping last time!.

The balloon was a sticker from a box of 3000 that I got in Costco. Absolute bargain for £9.99 as they're all acid free. Loads of different ones, good for the kiddies.

Faces are made from fimo....I used to buy resin faces which were excellent but the suppliers stopped getting them and I cant find anymore....been searching for months now....so if anyone can point me in the direction of a source for faces I would appreciate it.I have found some girls faces....but they are yuck....they look like devil dolls faces!!!!

The girls hair is made from hessian string....althogh I have used all sorts of other products....wool....embroidery threads....just depends what falls out of the work box!!!!

Jaymum I thought your card with my bits was fab?did you say you sold it do you sell your cards?I'm interested as I sell mine.If I didn't I'd have a house full.
