Easy crochet blanket pattern recommendations for autumn and winter stitching

I want to crochet a blanket this autum/winter. I am not a total beginner but very much still learning. I just want something reasonably easy, where I can get into a rhythm quietly stitching away. Can anyone suggest a pattern/kit? Something straightforward from Attic24 or other recommendations? thank you.

Oh this sounds cosy, following as something I would like to do too.

what about a corner to corner? Simple and effective.
Or if you’re learning there’s lots of CALS around.. the Summer Blossom one on the sirdar website would teach you lots of stitches (and there are videos)

I like C2C for blankets, it’s a nice easy pattern. This is the Bella Coco corner to corner tutorial.

Great minds at exactly the same time!

I made a couple of Attic24 blankets when I was new to crochet. I liked this autumn one but always thought of I made it I might remove the pale blue.

I've just finished a waffle blanket - really easy, all trebles, and a lovely thick cosy blanket. Bella Coco has instructions, her videos are really clear.

Attic 24 Moorland blanket is very simple and looks stunning. Just a simple repeating pattern of 10 stitches, double, half treble and treble. Two rows at a time of any one colour is surprisingly motivating.

Yes it's very easy. Could even do it with the more autumnal woodland yarn pack.

Ive done a few attic24 ..not squares though as too lazy to join.. my favourite pattern so far has been Dune.. i did it in the coast colours .
Am doing a cosy comfort now in a variagated yarn so hardly any ends!

Her ripple pattern is really good I found once you get into the rhythm

I found c2c tricky to get my head round for some reason but once I did quite effective.. prefer standard..

If you like colourful Janie Crow has some lovely patterns which are a bit more complex..

A friend taught me to crochet using a corner to corner blanket pattern and although it was easy it was mind blowingly tedious by the time it was finished. They give a square blanket rather than a rectangle and the finished article wasn’t particularly useful. I keep coming across it shoved on a chair in the spare room and thinking I should really do something with that!

The Attic24 Moorland blanket looks lovely as PPs have said. That bit more variety in the work would be more interesting. I’d love to do on of her granny square blankets but I know in my heart of hearts that I’d end up with half the squares done and just not finish.

Corner to corner is only square if you make it square. It’s easy to make a rectangular blanket using that method.

Thank you - some excellent ideas.

I'm making this one currently. It looks a lot more complicated than it is - the base colour is used continuously, paused while the contrast colour is joined in and then started again working over and around the contrast row to create the heart effect. The pattern was from Etsy and is very clear with photos to show the various stages.

I was going to recommend Attic 24 too. Wool Warehouse has yarn packs for several of her blankets, which makes it a lot easier.
