I've inherited a Bernette MO234 overlocker that has not been used in 5-10y. I'm being quoted £100ish to service it. Is this worthwhile? Should I just have a stab at cleaning it myself? I sew using a sewing machine of similar vintage, and used to use this overlocker 20+ years ago, so am not completely inexperienced.
