I'd like to embellish a top but wasn't sure where to start. Does anyone know much about this and what works best?

Never done this myself but would fabric glue work? I wouldn't recommend a hot glue gun.

E6000 glue.

Hi both, I would say I havent a clue where to start, would you buy these hotfix glue guns and lots of stones? We have a tailor nearby and I was actually thinking to ask them to do as a one off rather than screwing up myself!

I think a hot fix glue gun might leave a mess especially if they are tiny gems you are gluing on. you can buy tubes of fabric glue online on ebay or craft stores. you could use a small paint brush to dab some on each gem. Also check out YouTube for videos of people doing similar projects.

I’ve glittered-up several skating costumes. We use the pre-glued crystals and a hot gun (came from Amazon, less than €20 and had a couple of boxes of glitter stones included). It’s really easy to do, but once the crystals are stuck on it, not easy to change them without making a mess.

The skating dresses don’t really get washed but we did t-shorts too and they seem to wash well inside-out on a cool wash.
