HELP!!

My mum and I are searching for curtain fabric and came across this USA seller. reprodepotfabrics.com/nthxpnt.html

They do some gorgeous looking stuff and we got quite excited - wondering if anyone had had any experience of them.

I've seen that website before, and although I don't think I've ordered form them, I'm pretty sure they'd be fine.

Oh no - even more lovely stuff - however will we decide - I loved the black with white skeletons (like Funnybones) but mum wouldn't go for it!

Just one more thought - do I have to pay any extra importing tax?

yes!

i order quite a bit of fabric from a us supplier called superbuzzy. just be careful though, if your order comes to over a certain amount, i think it's £18 (about $35) not including postage, you may be charged an extra fee by the post office. my last parcel wasn't delivered, i had to go and collect it and pay an extra £12. something to do with it being imported goods. if you are ordering a lot, might be worth splitting the order into smaller parcels, the additional postage may well be cheaper than the royal mail extra fees.

flipping heck! i was very lucky then and didn't have to pay extra tax.

IME, it's a bit hit and miss as to weather you have to pay tax. With such strong pound, and the low US prices for fabric, sompared to the UK, overall it doesn't work out too horrendous even with postage and tax.
