How do you do your patchwork? What equipment do you use?Tia.

Disclaimer - I'm not a massively skilled patchworker - but basically rotary cutter, mat, some form of cutting in a straight line (if you go for templates or rulers or whatever) and machine. I tend to use a vintage Singer machine just because it does the most gorgeous straight stitch ever (it's an old treadle style one converted to electricity), but I'm happy to use whatever machine is to hand for piecing.

I also quite like doing foundation paper piecing where you sew the pieces onto a printed template and then tear away the edges - it fills the niche if you ever liked painting by numbers and tearing the strips off the old dot matrix printer paper!
