Clever arty-crafty peeps, what is the best kind of stuffing?

DD1 likes making things like dolls and soft toys and has requested stuffing on her birthday list this year. I wondered if there is much difference between different types of stuffing and does it matter what type I get?

Polyester stuffing is what you want. Market stalls, craft shops etc sell it in bags about size of a cushion. I always tease the lumps out before stuffing the item so it makes a smooth filling.
