so I’ve started knitting this baby overall romper thingy, however I’ve got to row 16 and I’m confused on the next part of the pattern

if anyone is able to word it so that I might understand id be appreciative

i think im confused because row 1 would have less stitches to knit than row 16 as I’ve had to increase stitches as part of leg shaping and pattern

Are you able to post a less blurry pic? Admittedly I’m on my phone but can’t read that at all.
Happy to (try to!) help…

Sorry cross posted. Still hard on phone but perhaps others can see the new image better?

Which size are you knitting, sheraleegillespie, and do you have the correct number of stitches on your needle on row 16? That is to say, 24 [24, 24, 26, 26], depending on size?

Oldnproud · 30/11/2024 08:43

Assuming you do have the correct number of stitches on row 16, telling us the specific size you are making will mean we should be able write out the following increase rows for you in a clearer way, assuming that is the bit you are unsure of.

(You were correct to say that row 1 had fewer stitches to knit than row 16. The number of knit stitches will continue to increase as you go up the leg, working the increases that come after row 16.)
