i think i need a thread about this!
i feel nervous, my swapee is juicyfig and i don't know her, so i've stalked her blog to see what she's into, i've never finished making a doll before - although i have started a few! My mushy little brain is whirring with ideas and i'm sure i'll be ok once i make a start

oh vv - I feel the same - at least we can post on here with our nerves and terrors

I got Ravenhill - who sells loads of dolls on etsy - I have never even started one, not to mind finished...

I had an idea for a doll that I've wanted to design for a few weeks but I'm not sure if it will suit my swap partner but got no inspiration from her blog

Im not involved in this at all - I didnt know there was a mn doll swap infact!
I knit dolls and dolls clothes and would be delighted by anything someone else made for me - I think you should all have a lot more confidence in your abilities, and assume that that its as good to receive as it is to give!

why don't you two - greebo & yurtgirl pair up and join the swap it's on nbg's blog.

my grandad has been ill(heart) lately so his kids have been taking turns to go and look after him - on my Mum's last shift she dug out all my Grandma's old doll making books for me - she died 10 years ago but i just couldn't bear rummaging in her workroom even though i obviously wanted her stash, so i have no excuse not to get on and choose a pattern and crack on but i just can't

yeah i know i'm talkin to myself on this thread but i have made a pattern for my doll and started to cut out fabric so tomorrow i'll brave the ageing singer!!

yeah i've finally started sewing up dolly today - so far so good too!

i got my dolly today and she's really sweet & just my cup of tea!! i'll blog her later. . . . just need to finish off mine now , i'm very nearly there
