Hi All,
Hoping for some advice from the experts in sewing out there!

I would like to 'have a go' at making my own bedding and was wondering how easy it would be.

I was given a Singer a long time ago but have never used it.

Is it something I could pick up or am I better off buying instead?

Any thoughts welcome

You should change your name to 'LaraCraft'.

I make bedding and its dead easy - otherwise I wouldn't be able to do it!!

All you need to worry about is finding material wide enough - a lot is 112cm wide and a single duvet is 135cm wide.

I have a book with the instructions in so if you let me have your email address I can scan the relevant pages and send to you

bedding would be the easiest thing to start off doing tbh!

Dunelm sell sheeting material. Its then just measuring up, adding seam allowances and then sewing right sides together in STRAIGHT lines

Hi dizzyday07,
Thanks for the quick response. What is the best way of giving you my e-mail? Without making it available to everybody

I have not had a good look around for material yet, what is the best size to get?

Hi oiFoiF,
I will be honest I did 'TRY' to use the machine to hem a pair of curtains once. Try as I might I could not keep it in a straight line. Any tips?
Is the sheeting material at Dunelm expensive?

no its usually really cheap. Just have a go. Curtains can be difficult to beginw ith really as they are heavier

Lara - I've send you the scanned pages - let me know if you don't receive them properly
