I sewed press studs onto my duvet cover to keep it closed but they pop open anyway. Do I need something different? Stronger?

I think buttons would be perfect but I don’t know how to do buttonholes.

Then I thought about buttons and some sort of loop but I don’t know how to do that either 🥴.

Then I thought maybe bigger press studs?

It took ages to sew them on and they still seemed a bit loose on the fabric, but this isn’t why they came undone.

Any ideas? I have to have something as the gap is on the side and looks bad when it doesn’t close properly.

Take the duvet to a seamstress.

Or buy a sewing machine (they do buttonholes).

Or buy a new duvet. (I’ve never owned one without buttons!)

I made matching ties from the same fabric. Really simple and I like the way it looks.
