One of you lovely clever crafty mumsnetters made a marvellous lens cover for your dd's glasses and linked to the pattern - was it you? I need one and I can't remember who it was [blush].

Could you repost the link? My dd would be very grateful, we have just started patching and she's not too keen on the sticky ones.

Thanks

hi tg, hope the patch helps, i have found another link, here, these are to buy though, not to make, but i do think ime with patching, their design idea behind this one is good. really it depends on your child as to what design of patch works best. my dd didn't like anything close to her eye, which is why we were looking for one that fitted over the glasses rather than under, but the downside of it is they can peak over it.

good luck with it all

Thanks

I like the look of the under-lens ones but I have a feeling that dd won't tolerate them. I will have a go at making yours Lucykate - dd will adore the flower

Thanks again.

let me know how you get on and if there are any problems with the tutorial.

am off to pick dd up from school in a bit, she has an eye test at 1pm, going to see how the patching is progressing, plus her nhs voucher has expired.

well dd is really happy, after 9 months of patching 2 hours a day, we don't have to do it anymore, her eyes have equalled out.

tg, tell your dd it is worth doing as patching really does work!
