Friend's dh wants me to paint his didgeridoo?

Any tips on this? I thought he was having a laugh but he has a plain one and a painted one and wants plain one decorating. Would acrylic paint be ok do you think? I paint pictures normally.

I painted a didgeridoo when on holiday in Australia. I have no idea what paints we used, but it was fun! I painted snakes and red back spiders on mine, and some aboriginal- type dots.

yes think i'll go with the dot effect seems to be the norm? Feel a bit under pressure really but he has faith in me
