I have 1600 yards, or possibly metres, or rowan calmer in purple

It needs to be flattering. I have had 3 babies in 4 years. No frigging boxes please.

Also it needs to be fun and interesting to knit.

I can do pretty much everything, I think. I have made lots of kids jumpers/cardigans, so I know the basics, but never befire have i had the yarn or pateience for a big project.

Ok, so thoughts?

Oops, no, that is exactly the way ranting has just described it too. Hurrah though, that probably means I'm doing it right.

rantinghousewife · 04/03/2008 20:50

That's what I do Tamum (don't think I explained it very well)

rantinghousewife · 04/03/2008 20:50

Am a bit relieved that's the way you do it too.

Tamum · 04/03/2008 20:53

I had to actually pretend to do it with my knitting before I could describe it

rantinghousewife · 04/03/2008 20:54

If it's any consolation, YOU described it much better.

Tamum · 04/03/2008 21:04

Why thank you

SheherazadetheGoat · 04/03/2008 21:06

ok, isn't that just the same as knitting into the back of 2 stitches?

(btw i crocheted a lumpy hat with that nice donegal yarn you gave me tamum, i sshall call it lovely lady lumps in your honour! thanks again!)

SheherazadetheGoat · 04/03/2008 21:07

oh i see you kind of do it backwards!

Tamum · 04/03/2008 21:08

Well, I am honoured indeed, thank you STG

Ceolas · 04/03/2008 21:09

SheherazadetheGoat · 04/03/2008 21:10

you might not be so honoured if you saw the hat!

rantinghousewife · 04/03/2008 21:16
