Sewing pattern help for novice

I have bought a pattern to make some pyjamas for my niece. Is there a way of not cutting the pattern to the smallest size, as I would like to use the pattern again in the future and patterns are so expensive. Thank you

You can lay it out, and trace the size that you want to sew now onto baking paper (Iron it flat first, if you need to.)

You can either use a tracing wheel and carbon to transfer the pattern to the fabric but my preferred method is to trace the pattern onto lightweight paper. Some people use greaseproof but I like Swedish tracing paper

I haven't traced anything since primary school, I would never have thought of that. I am going to get some pattern paper and give it a go. Thank you all so much for your help. Thanks also for the link SBAM just off to look at it now.
